Some controversy exists as to the exact year of issuance of this extremely rare cigarette card set. The cards picturing the NY Giants were undoubtedly issued in 1886 given the existence of Corcoran. The card of Buck Ewing is the only known card. There are two known of each the Keefe (other copy has the ad trimmed off) and the O’Rourke card.
