1872 Wright and Gould Trade Card
Issued in 1872 by sporting goods manufacturer Wright & Gould, this unique trade card pictures members of the Philadelphia Athletics team, including a very young Cap Anson.
1872 CDV Boston Red Sox
The CDVs of Harry Wright and Albert Spalding were once owned by George Wright and assembled as part of a framed collage of 11 CDVs. The corner is clipped on the Spalding CDV due to George Wright’s attempt to have all 11 CDVs of his teammates “line up”. Hopefully soon, the George Wright card will be added to this collection.
1885-86 N-UNC Mickey Welch
Originally listed as a “Cinderella” card in Lew Lipset’s The Encyclopedia of Baseball Cards, at the time, only a card of Joe Gerhardt was known to exist. Since that time, Mickey Welch, Danny Richardson, Larry Corcoran and Joe Mulvey have been found. About the same size as a Kalamazoo Bat card, little more is known about this set.
